Earth, Year 3,000
Humans decided to visit again the place that they once knew as "home" to see what actually happened after the mass extinction.
It was discovered that an unknown bacteria formed in the Earth's atmosphere. The bacteria became airborne, wiping 98 percent of life forms.
They said it came from aliens; others suspected it was a biological weapon; while some believed it's the Earth's defense from humans, who were sipping the Earth's resources like the way they drink soda. No one actually knows the real reason.
Luckily, humans have a space station that is capable of interstellar travel. While some survive, others were left on Earth—dead or alive, it's time we found out.
